Biography
Taran Daniel Rosenthal has been a student of healing for the past 28 years. He graduated from the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts, Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. He graduated from Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado in 2000, with an interdisciplinary BA in Buddhism, psychology, and the body. He has been a student and practitioner of Brazilian spirituality, a wide range of meditative traditions, and internal cultivation practices for the past 22 years. He received his graduate diploma from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in 2012, and is licensed by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board. He has continued his studies with advanced trainings in tui na (Chinese medical massage), fascial unwinding, and visceral work, craniosacral therapy, Ba Gua I Ching acupuncture, Sa’am acupuncture, and various approaches to palpatory and orthopedic acupuncture.
