Melissa Rathbone’s initial training in Chinese Medicine was at the Pacific College in NYC. She graduated in 2003 and opened her private practice as a licensed acupuncturist and board certified herbalist. From 2003 – 2009, Melissa traveled to China 5 times to study with Dr Wang Ju Yi, a master practitioner and teacher of Classical Chinese Medicine and Applied Channel Theory. Melissa continues to deepen her study of Classical Chinese Medicine to this day – studying the Complement Channels with Ann Cecil-Sterman, Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine with Sharon Weizenbaum and Sa’am Acupuncture with Toby Daly.
