Kristen is a licensed Naturheilpraktikerin (Alternative Medicine Practitioner) in Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Canton of Zürich in Switzerland and a NCBAHM board certified Diplomate of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. She is a graduate of Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC where she was trained in Classical Chinese Medicine. After graduating, she taught herbal medicine courses at Daoist Traditions for five years.

Kristen currently works as an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist at a physical therapy clinic in Uster, Switzerland (20 minutes from downtown Zürich) where she blends acupuncture with cranial sacral and osteopathic techniques to help patients feel more at home in their bodies. Her passion lies in treating perimenopausal and menopausal complaints, geriatric patients, autoimmune illnesses and pain syndromes. She was first introduced to SaAm acupuncture in 2021 through an introductory course she took in Germany with Dr. Andreas Brüch. Since then, she has also studied with Dr. Toby Daly and continues to be amazed by the profound healing potential of this elegant technique.
