Biography
I was first introduced to acupuncture following a shoulder surgery, and continued treatment to relieve chronic headaches and debilitating migraines. I became a licensed and board certified acupuncturist in 2011, and board certified herbalist in 2013.
Much of my post-graduate acupuncture training has been in sports medicine acupuncture. I studied first with Whit Reaves (2012), and later became Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certified through Matt Callison’s program (2017). Early in my practice I studied with Dr Richard Tan and spent several weekends learning Master Tung-style acupuncture.
I have been studying classical herbal medicine and diagnostics with Sharon Weizenbaum since 2018 and became certified through her Graduate Mentorship Program in 2020. I learned about Saam acupuncture from her in late-2018 and began taking classes from Toby Daly in 2019. I have found Saam to be incredible for a wide variety of cases.
My practice is informed by all of my learnings.
I am endlessly curious about how humans work and the interconnectedness of all things. Through my desire to relieve suffering and my joy in testing East Asian medical theory to solve puzzles of the human body and psyche, I create a healing space to bring about positive results for my patients.
