Hiroshi received his Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine degree from Five Branches University in San Jose/Santa Cruz, CA. He is a licensed practitioner in CA and Guam, and is a NCCAOM National Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. He combines Sa’am acupuncture with Shang Han Lun/Jin Gui Yao Lue style herbal medicine to treat complex and chronic conditions. His approach to medicine and life is informed heavily by Liu Ming and his teachings on Daoism, Tibetan Buddhism, Chinese mantic arts (calendar arts/time, feng shui/space), movement arts (neigong, taijiquan, martial arts), diet, and so on. To this end, he studies with Jacob Newell at the Old Oak School of Dao. He lives on Guam and enjoys spending time with his family and experimenting with gardening.
