Freya Sherlock Lic. Ac, MSc CHM
Biography
Freya Sherlock began studying Chinese Medicine in 1988
following an impactful experience of being treated with
Tibetan medicine at the Tibetan refugee village hospital
in McLeod Ganj in northern India. After raising her four
children, she returned to her studies and completed her
BSc in TCM from the College of Oriental Medicine in Cork,
Ireland, followed by a master’s degree in Chinese herbal
medicine at the Northern College of Acupuncture, York,
UK. Through her master’s dissertation, she went to Beijing
to participate in a summer internship with Dr. Feng Shi-Lun
and Dr. Suzanne Robidoux which opened her eyes to classical
jingfang. She is currently completing a doctoral degree at
the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences, USA.
She practises daoist internal arts and is deeply grateful for
the many extraordinary teachers with whom she has been
privileged to train and study. She holds clinics in Ireland and
