I am a graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College). I completed over 4,000 hours of clinical training that included a clinical internship in Zhejiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital (Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China). I am a NCCAOM National Board Certified Acupuncturist, specializing in (but not limited to) sports medicine, pain management and Tui Na (Chinese medical massage). In addition to my formal studies, I have completed several certifications in Advance Needling and Anatomical Acupuncture.

I was born in Mexico City. I started my studies in Taijiquan, Qigong and Gongfu in 1986. Since then I have participated in dozens of seminars and workshops in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, Canada, USA and China. I am a certified instructor of the Five Sections Taijiquan Program. In Puerto Rico, I taught medical qigong in the Hospital Español Auxilio Mutuo for 12 years. I used to Rock Climb in a semiprofessional bases. I am married and have two wonderful boys, and I am also an enthusiast photographer.

I started to learn/use Saam acupuncture in 2024.
