Toggling SI+ and K+ in the elderly

I just had a discussion with Toby about the elderly and possibility of needing to toggle between SI/K in patients
who have some signs of K excess.
Here it is: My questions or statements are in <>. His are in italics
<When an elderly patient presents with blood stasis and Kidney excess signs (facial symmetry, good bones,
previously hearty constitution), what are some for sure signs, besides cracked medial heel, that we might need to
toggle K+. Weak teeth/bones can overlap with Spleen excess.>
<Low/no sex drive>
Definitely.
<poor balance/unsteadiness>
Maybe, but be sure to rule out any dizziness.
<suicidal thoughts, general trend of giving up on life, general weakness, a general sense that they are falling
apart.>
Definitely.
<Everyone has a different idea and expectations of what elderly” means. This would be helpful to articulate on the
forum.>

Consider Kid deficiency for any females over 49 and males over 64.
Consider history of infertility or desire not to have children.
Consider significant neglecting of self care (hair, clothes, etc)
