SP+ for psoriasis?

I have a psoriasis patient, a 26-year-old man, an athlete, has pustules on his skin or redness. He has a diagnosis of
psoriasis. He says that he feels his skin is dry and that he is peeling, he still has a rancidity in the abdominal area
around the navel, he can’t stand being touched. Addicted to exercise sports, very active, he goes to the gym 3x a
week for 2 hours and in addition he plays basketball, and the rest he learns or studies.
I was thinking of an excess LI, or an SP deficit through compensation. I can use SP + for treatment, I ask because I
have never had a case of psoriasis.
Thanks!

Dry skin can suggest perhaps supplementation of ST, SP, BL are the main channels I’d think about. (but all
channels are always in play)

So yes his interests in a lot of things and perhaps never bored could suggest a LI excess pattern. He also sounds
like a strong person which would lend to thinking about a LI excess.
Is he thin as well? – then that would likely have me choosing a supplement SP+.
Does he tend to run hot/warm or cold? If he runs hot or shows any sign of dampness I would be cautious to adding
more damp and warmth.
Does he have enough internal dry signs – i.e. very thin, ‘feels’ dry thirsty.?
If the above check out for a LI excess then supplementing SP+ seems like a good choice. Also consider the BL/HT
dynamic if he tends to run warm/hot and is hyper then BL+ can be considered.
