I am treating a 76 year old woman who is tiny and thin and dry but sweats easily. She is really all deficiency. I
would think of that kind of sweat is kidney deficiency. How about in SAAM?

Her age is a SI excess sign so K+ is something to consider but there are so many other reasons for sweat to
consider too.
Toby has mentioned that he very rarely, if ever, supplements K as a first line of treatment, preferring to clean up
other areas first.
Of course, you have to be on the look out for K excess signs too- bone structure, varicosities, etc.

Hi Amy,
I also think of Lu supplementation as this could be seen as dry inside and wet outside. Metal does generate water so
there would be a good effect on Ki deficiency as well.

Lung+ is definitely something to consider.
With sweat, it is good to ask if heat is pushing the sweat out, is leaking out or if there is damp on the surface.
A 70 year old withered, overall deficient patient of mine taught me to be careful of jumping to K+. She was weak
and falling apart in many ways, but she was symmetrical, always wore lipstick and dressed with style. She did well
with SI+ added to the mix and never needed K+. Good to keep the big picture in view.
