Sa’Am Rocks when it Rocks

When Sa’Am rocks, it really rocks.
25 year old patient always extremely cold at night, had to sleep with multiple blankets all night, persistent
nightmares of people chasing her trying to kill her and waking with her heart racing.
One UB + treatment.
Saw her a month later.
Nightmares all gone since the day after the treatment.
No longer cold at night and sleep with one regular blanket since the day after treatment

Great case Daniel!
Heart excess: racing heart
UB excess: extreme cold and fear
This analysis has me leaning more towards H+. What swayed you to the other side of the coin?
I see that her fear isn’t UB excess paralyzing but instead the reaction in her dream was running and her
physiological response of a racing heart.
Please let us know your thought process and any other clues. Thank you.

Hi Kristin
Great questions.
first for context – she actually came to treatment for another reason entirely (with Sp+ treatment)
which we resolved in two sessions – so on her third and final session, I tackled this nocturnal situation.
Well, she didn’t have a racing heart any other time, during the day or at night – only on waking after being chased
by someone wanting to kill her – I assumed even a UB+ person would have a racing heart after being chased by a
would-be murderer!
Her cold at night was extreme – freeeeeezing – even in the summer with many blankets.
And her fear
She was also deathly fearful of the acupuncture – so much so I nearly had PTSD trying to needle her on the first
visit.
And her substernal-epigastric area was tight and while not cold, certainly not warm.12/01/2024, 11:48Sa’Am Rocks when it Rocks – Qiological Community

I never thought of running for fear of one’s life as being Heart Excess! (versus freezing still)!
Interesting thought.
Anyway – guess I got lucky, it worked superbly!!

Hi Daniel,
I’m a little confused also.
Daniel:
Her cold at night was extreme – freeeeeezing – even in the summer with many blankets.
Daniel:
And her fear
Daniel:
And her substernal-epigastric area was tight and while not cold, certainly not warm.
these things would also lead me to think UB excess, hence a HT+ treatment.
I’ll second Kristin’s question: Was it mainly/solely the racing heart that lead you to choosing UB+? (You didn’t by
chance mean that you diagnosed her as UB excess?)

OMG! I am soooo sorry. I must be losing it. What Sa’Am treatment would solve that?? LOL
yes, of course, I did an HT+ treatment. Yes, I treated UB Excess. So sorry for the confusion.

maybe KD+ for you?
thank you for clarifying. makes so much more sense now.12/01/2024, 11:48Sa’Am Rocks when it Rocks – Qiological Community

Thanks for the clarification. I also did a HT+ treatment last year for a 20 year old – insomnia, cold a lot and
needing lots of blankets, peed a lot when couldn’t fall asleep, afraid to move forward in life. It was also a dramatic
improvement – in terms of sleep, but especially in terms of branching out in her life and becoming more
mature/social/engaged pretty immediately. And I did not do strong stimulation or even use big needles.
