Low pulse rate and really hot

HI,
I have a female patient who is 45 with chronic migraines.
I have recently started to use the oximeter to check pulse rate.
To my surprise, this patient who is always SO hot has a pulse rate of 50. And she told me that she has always had
low blood pressure.
Her migraines are w/w heat and better when she jumps into freezing cold water.
She is always hot and has raised red bumps on her red tongue.
THis is the Ht and BL excess break down:
Ht : so hot 10+, friendly 7+, loves her kids 8+, migraines w/w heat 9+, red tng 8+
Bl: slow pulse 7+, her warmth to others can have a coolness to it 6+, gets really tired at around 12:30/ 1:00 every
day until around 4:00, midline warm and tight 4+
how much weight do I give the slow pulse?
I have done BL+ on her before and sometimes it can give her a week with less migraines and sometimes not. It
does not cool her off.
It seems far out to even consider Ht+ but her pulse is pretty slow

Pulse is not a gem for this system and Sunim Toby s teacher did not use the pulse. With that said I do use the pulse
as I ll never have the skills of Sunim to see the invisible and tapping into a higher frequency.
Toby may use a fast pulse to push weight towards supplementing BL+. Also this is not this system, but I consider
the thickness of the pulse not just the rate which may give us an idea of fluids. Does she seem dry? In addition you
do not want to get tripped up focusing on one channel pair just by one sign. Take in the entire picture.
What is the location of the migraines? BL channel, GB channel, TW, forehead? These also need to be considered.

I d stick with gems when evaluating. Also notice how you put HT excess so hot +7, but then you put what you are
saying is a BL deficiency as a slow pulse. Not a gem and you mixed up whether you mean to supplement a channel
or a channel is excess.
Getting tired can fall into many categories as well and not a gem for BL+, although hypo functioning is which may
not be the same thing as getting tired. Actually likely not if energy is good at other times.08/01/2024, 13:52Low pulse rate and really hot – Qiological Community

BL+ supplementation seemed to provide relief which is important clinical information. Considering she is hot and
a +4 for a soft midline it seems it is a channel that can work well for her. In addition jumping into cold water helps.
Plus you reported a red tongue, is it dry?
Given what you said I would not do HT+ supplementation. Look at other channels that make sense. Examine the
LR/SJ. PC/GB dynamic.

Adina – remember to also check the quality of her epigastrium through palpation . . . hot and soft or cold and tight?
And her colour? Is her face red? Red all over or just malar red? Red all the time or only sporadically? And are there
other signs of hyper or hypo function across the full spectrum of manifestation? These are critical pieces of the HT-
UB pair required for full discernment. After folding all of these data into the picture, more clarity may emerge. On
the other hand, if it remains a conflicted HT-UB picture, then its always best to look to the other pairs for
something more definitive to start with? KI-SI? TW-LIV? GB-PC? Or even I have found sometimes, severe
dampness issues can seem to lock heat in parts of the system . . .

Thanks Daniel

She is thin and very dry.
I think her issue is more heat cooking her fluids but dampness locking heat in is definitely something to look out
for in others
