HI all,
a rainy cool saturday has me indoors reading about all your adventures in SA’AM. I have had a sticky note on my
desk for a couple of weeks to ask about the Liv + Ht combo. Recently, I have been finding it a great treatment for
all the anxiety of the times and have been using it frequently. Especially when I haven’t seen someone in a while
because they have been reluctant to come to treatment for fear of getting sick in the state with the lowest number of
cases, Maine. My question is does that count as 1 Liv + tx and 1 HT+ treatment when I am keeping track to not
overuse, or is it its own thing to be counted as a single use of the combo?

For myself, if I’m using two channels I do that those into consideration when doing future treatments. But like
anything… it depends on the situation in the moment.
And yes, the cool nourishing blood of the LV combined with the warmth and love of the HT is a potent
nourishment for the shen

Hi Amy,
My take is to count it as 1 Liver+ and 1 Heart + treatment and not as a separate entity. For instance, I wouldn’t use
the combo or either individual treatment at the next visit if my patient is more delicate. Ditto if the patient is
doesn’t have strong indications for the combo or the individual treatments, ie if their SJ/Liver or H/UB balances
aren’t very skewed.
This isn’t something I have heard from Toby and is solely my own opinion.

sorry… typo.
Should have said “If I am using two channels, then I do take those into consideration as I move forward with future
treatments”
In essence I’ll count both of those as having been “used”
