Hello everybody,
I also have a case for which I want you to help me with some ideas.
A 51-year-old man diagnosed with lazy gallbladder, ie his gallbladder does not produce or release enough bile.
AND I wanted to know if I could assume that it was a gallbladder deficiency, and to supplement the gallbladder.
He is a calm, peaceful person who always has a tablet with him on which he has books and always studies, reads.
His wife says he is lazy because he prefers to study and does nothing more than that (reads, watches videos for
work, takes notes), even in a pandemic in the lockdown he said he did not it bothers him that he has no social
activity, that he has much to study. Even at parties with friends, he gets bored of mundane topics and withdraws on
the phone reading various studies. Do not drink alcohol, and do not exercise, sometimes take short walks (to clear
your mind).
Insomnia, wakes up every night at 2:08, and in the morning does not sleep more than 7-7: 30 even if he has only 5-
6 hours of sleep a night and that superficially.
Tense on the inside, without manifesting (holding on to him), he hates arguing and avoids conflicts. The only thing
he does when he quarrels is when he is insistently disturbed by his studies.
Fat around the abdomen with thin hands and feet.

We need a lot more information to do a comprehensive Sa Am assessment. However, with his very studious
disposition and his insomnia, he is presenting quite strongly with two hallmark signs of Pericardium Excess in the
Sa Am system . . . which would indicate a GB supplementation in his case, on the Left side, would seem very
appropriate (again, with the caveat that your information is limited).

Thanks!
I know that my diagnosis has many shortcomings. I learned Sa am online from Toby Daly s classes, some podcasts
and discussions from this forum.
I don t know how to make a complete diagnosis, and I would like to learn a course from that.
I learned from Toby Daly s classes how to recognize the signs of an excess, I don t know how to recognize the
signs or symptoms of a deficiency, and I admit that sometimes it would have been good for me.
If I excessively supplement the pair meridian, I think that in deficiency I could even supplement the channel itself.03/01/2024, 11:47Gallbladder deficiency, or – Sa’am Clinical Questions – Qiological Community

If you know where I can learn this for a fee, I d be grateful. For me, the only connection with Sa am is this
community whose activity I really appreciate.

Hi Florin
I agree with Daniel. For case reviews in order to get help with this flavor of Sa am we need to know about your
patient as a whole. There is a case study format

In this system the way Toby has taught it we think in terms of relative channel excess which implies a relative
deficiency. I believe you are saying that if a channel is replete but not excess and its paired channel is deficient how
do we recognize it? That is thinking more in terms of I see channel X is deficient in relation to its paired channel Y
which seems balanced. I think that is a valid way of thinking and do find myself thinking that way. But it is still
using the same diagnostic tools that this system is based on.

For the flavor of Sa am that Toby is teaching we all have the same tools. We have this fabulous forum with a rich
history of discussions. Kristin Wisgirda runs a forum on the White Pine Circle which is well worth the price of
admission.
For studying
Qiological: So many podcasts. So many 90/120 minute classes. Recorded classes. (Watch the point location class
Toby did in the past year!)
White Pine Circle: Toby has a few classes and Kristin has several as well as forum moderation
Toby has also done classes on HealthySeminars.com

Sa am is an extremely powerful system and should not be used lightly. It can generate a powerful healing response
but on the other hand, it can really hurt a patient if your diagnosis is wrong. I have learned this the hard way
because at the beginning, like you, my diagnostic skills were incomplete. Even now after practicing Sa am
consistently for almost 2 years and being extremely careful, I still make mistakes. It is because clinic is hard and03/01/2024, 11:47Gallbladder deficiency, or – Sa’am Clinical Questions – Qiological Community

patient cases are not straightforward. I still lack the experience to make the right call. My suggestion is don t
practice Sa am until you really have the foundational principles down solid.
