Clarifying question about successive treatments

I have read on this forum that Toby does not recommend supplementing the same points more than 2-3 times,
(unless there is the exception), I just wanted to clarify that he was referring to 2-3 times in a row as successive
treatments, but it would be ok over a course of treatments, to keep returning to the same points if needed (which
then may total over 3 treatments of the same organ) in between treatments of other organs?
Hope my question makes sense… I ask because I have a patient who has hip and foot pain, but is very
damp/overweight especially around the abdomen, and was not uncommon to have 6+ bowel motions a day, I have
Li+ twice already (which did wonders for the bowel motions, and she is walking more so must be less pain) and
following treatments have focused on other aspects of her pathology but I keep wanting to return to Li+ to shift
some of the abdominal weight, which is aggravating the hip pain.

It is fine to keep returning to a treatment as long as it interspersed with other strategies. So treatment A 2-3 times in
succession might be fine, then do something else before returning to treatment A. Damp pathologies, being
tenacious by nature, are more likely to need successive treatments as described above. It might look like this for
instance: LI+, LI+, swtich to SI+, LI+, LI+, St+, LI+…
In contrast some patients, especially those who are weaker and sensitive, benefit from changing treatments every
time. In those cases, you might have great results with a treatment, but repeating it will not be helpful at all. Every
patient should be watched carefully with each treatment any which way.
Let me know if this needs clarification.

Great thank you, makes perfect sense, thank you for clarifying.

As @KristinWisgirda points out it is ok, to return to a type of treatment that closely matches their physiology,
especially if they are of an Earth or Metal type.
At the same time, look for what else is going on with them. It’s easy at time to see the most “obvious” thing, but
the secondary or tertiary issues also are parts of the puzzle.16/01/2024, 12:12Clarifying question about successive treatments – Qiological Community

And remember, you may LOVE perfectly done grilled cheese sandwiches, but you would not like them for every
meal!

Yes great point, thanks Michael max, I have been focusing on the obvious, maybe a little too much, it is helpful to
remember there are other meal options that will hit the spot.
