Chronic candida

I currently have 3 women in my practice dealing with chronic yeast infections. All are sensitive to sugar in that a
piece of fruit will produce burning/itching vagina/anus. All are very careful with diet.
2 of them are skinny with dry skin
1 is skinny with damp skin.
I have read that we consider the vagina as outside but how do we think about candida? Itchy = SI+, Burning = ?
BL+ or Liv+. Do we assume that it is damp?
How are Y’all thinking about candida?

Toby mentions that this is primarily how he thinks of it, but occasionally bends it and considers it internal.

Personally I would stick with the symptom and patient presentations rather than the diagnosis of yeast. I’m sure
that you are asking about swelling, odor, discharge, etc. If the double dry ladies really don’t have any damp signs
(or only minor puddles in the desert), you could consider Sp+ as well as SI+, UB+ and Liv+ as appropriate.
Different department but similar situation, but I had a case of a very dry patient with burning, very frequent
urination that disappeared within an hour of a SP+ treatment after antibiotics did nothing.
