Does anyone know what difficulty to focus would be? I am speaking more specifically of attention to detail like in
ADD. I am thinking this might be Liver excess but then I would think that liver excess would be more dull and
clouded, as opposed to the hyper symptoms of ADD where people are not so dull, but just can’t stay focused on
one thing at a time. Would love to hear others thoughts on this! thanks

Hi Erin
In general if someone has great attention to details then they are SJ excess. But your example could be LR excess if
more inward and dull.
But an ADD label could be LR excess, SJ excess, LI excess…
We would need to know more about your patient. Someone can be labled with ADD because they cannot handle
the external input (SJ excess). Someone can be slow clouded and heavy and labeled with ADD becaue they cannot
focus on anything outside. (LR excess)
Someone can be so interested in so many things they cannot complete a task (LI excess).
Maybe someone has no interest they start something cannot complete bc they have a foggy head and get bored
easily (SP excess).

The combination of archetypal excesses can make diagnosis confusing. The drawn in energy of a LR excess. could
certainly seem hard to tease out if someonee has some outward loving HT excess charactersitics. I can’t think if I
have seen a person where I want to supplement SJ+ and BL+ but may have.
