That Panicky Moment . .

Daniel: September 10, 2019, 8:58pm
. . . the patient has described all their symptoms, you are chatting – and in the background, you are doing everything
you can to figure out . . . is there dampness? is there dryness? is she a librarian? is she mike tyson? is she rude or
impolite? are there concavities here? Is this inward, outward, ascending or descending? and NOTHING is lining
up? NOTHING is helpfully informing a Sa’Am decision!! And time is running out! The next patient is arriving!
You will have to decide on something! And then, just this look on her face, clues you into a Sa’Am pattern . . . .a
tiny door opens, you ask her several questions to confirm or rule it out – and bingo – it all lines up so very well –
even her symptoms suddenly gain resolution within the pattern – JUST at the last minute . . . San Jiao excess. You
supplement Liver and she falls into a deep state of calm and you leave the treatment room, panic averted. Whew!
