Insight into UB/HT dynamics

I love Sa’am so much, one reason being that it helps clarify things that seemed mysterious or without explanation
before. The one example I wanted to share has to do with UB/HT dynamics. In the past I’d heard women say that
this or that symptom improved since having children, but I could never understand why. A patient who I diagnosed
as UB excess told me that some autoimmune-type symptoms got better after she gave birth. I know that UB excess
was the right call because doing two HT+ txs also helped improved those symptoms as well as her low back pain.
Then it occurred to me that having children adds LOVE to one’s life. It’s like the ultimate HT+ tx! I’ll have to pay
attention to future patients to see if this idea is consistent with them but to me it makes sense.

That is an interesting perspective on LOVE and how influences like this can affect a person’s live @adambroder.
I too have found that in working with this system I’ll get insights into things that previously were completely
baffling. Like your example here about women’s physical problems changing dramatically after childbirth. So
often the comments story is…“hormones.” But that is an unsatisfying answer. Seeing how these larger dynamics of
the “six jing” bring an influence can help us to see with different eyes.
And, of course, none of it is set in stone. But we can get a glimpse of something, like you have here, and then test
for it. And watch to see if it plays out in other places as well.
Thanks for the tip on this one. I’ll watch for it too
