Has anyone experienced a client with random bruising after a treatment? I treated a patient LU tonification to
address a Stomach excess pattern. The treatment helped her immensely, but she also noticed bruising, which I saw
too, along the 2nd toe between ST and LV channels at the proximal joint. Seems odd. Any clinical significance or
insight as to why this might be? There were no needles near the bruises and she couldn’t recall any reason as to
why they would be there, only that they showed up after our treatment the next day.

I’ve left bruises at needle sites. But this seems odd. If the bruise is touched is it painful? If so I’d bet she banged it
and forgot.

Yep, I’ve left a few bruises at needle sites too. But, no. I definitely didn’t needle the area where the bruises were
located. It was also odd because it was symmetrical on both feet and she didn’t recall doing anything to them at all.
Her response to the lung treatment was quite strong. She’d had explosive diarrhea and low energy and lethargy.
After the treatment her diarrhea resolved and her energy was improved. I just thought maybe there was some
serious stagnation in the channel that would’ve possibly left a bruise? Just curious. I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve
seen this SAAM do some pretty crazy things…

Interesting – so it was on the medial aspect of the second toes bilateral?

This would not surprise me at all. I have seen many many manifestations post treatment on the channel I treated or
on the counterbalance channel – and in this case it fits the Lung-Stomach pair . . . these are powerful treatments –
that clearly affect the flow of blood, fluids, Qi etc on most directly, the two channels being directly affected by the
treatment. This would not surprise me . . . .
