The Ongoing Joke in My Family is . .

Had a funny experience today . . .
A woman is coming to me for left-sided facial pain.
She had had Bell’s Palsy many years ago
but recently, her facial pain had become quite bad.
I won’t go into all the details.
My first two treatments involved SI+ and then Lu+ followed by ST+
with no real improvement at all.
So today, I delved into questioning a lot more.
Of course the original Bell’s Palsy was ‘wind-related’ and it is on the left side, so I delved into the Liver – SanJiao
axis.
I asked her a lot of questions about ‘weather’ and her face pain.
She said it was worse in the car when BOTH the cold air and the heat were on
the common denominator, therefore, being wind!!
but she just didn’t seem rude or oblivious to me which threw me off.
however, there is definitely a ‘non-brightness’ to her eyes – they definitely seem kind of dark – no sparkle. She is a
small woman, but certainly seems ‘dense’.
I just came out and asked her (because I had not observed it myself) – are you ‘heavy footed when you walk?’ . . .
she laughed, smiled and said . . .
“that is the running joke in our household – how whenever I walk, the house shakes, my steps are so heavy.” “my
daughter keeps asking me, mom, can’t you walk a little more quietly?!”
too funny
I put in a right sided SJ+ treatment and she fell into a deep sleep.

Beautiful story! Thanks Daniel. How about the Bell’s Palsy?

Hi Sharon – no remaining symptoms at all of the Bell’s Palsy (I think it was 15 years ago)- it was many years ago .
. . but she does say that the left side of her face is ‘vulnerable’ to pain – when struck by wind for example, or09/01/2024, 12:16The Ongoing Joke in My Family is . . – Qiological Community

intense dental work. And she came to me this time after a particularly bad left face pain episode that would not
resolve on its own.

@Daniel thank you for sharing this. I find it interesting how my timing on this forum is inconsistent but always
perfectly timed. This story just brought so much insight into my own past and considerations I had never found
words for. Thank you! We are all just walking each other home in one way or another
