I’m wondering from what companies folks are purchasing needles…what brands… and what lengths and gauges?
Thanks!

Using the search function in the upper right hand corner of the screen will get you answers faster than anyone can
respond.
There is a discussion of needles here and elsewhere on the forum:
For Fans of Big Needles
As long promised, we are (almost) getting higher gauge needles in eco packs: From Acurea: “As soon as we
see some movement in sales we will add the 40 x 40s and the 35 x 25s, as you prefer those sizes.”
Many folks are using Myacu .35×40 or Dong Bang .35 and .40 in various lengths. I am not sure of the availability
now, but Ebay was our source of Dong Bangs. Some people opt for shorter needles for jing wells, but that means
using thinner needles. I like using longer needles – 50mm – on points like UB40, Liv8, K10, LI11 especially for
heftier patients.
Following Toby in his clinic last year, I saw him use Myacu .35×40 on every point.
Using thicker needles will ensure that your treatment gives adequate response. I have had at least one case where
needling with a thicker gauge dramatically improved treatment response.

I loved the MyAcu 35’s but they no longer seem to be available. Does anyone know if they will be back in stock??
So I am using the Dong Bang 35’s – not the ones you can buy in North America, the ones you have to get on ebay
from Korean suppliers. They are called DB 108. They come in boxes of 1000.

goacupuncture.com has Millennia needles 0.45x25mm, 0.45x40mm, and 0.45x50mm. They had 0.30x13mm but I
don’t see it now on the website.

Thanks @tcmdoclee! Nice and thick. I haven’t used that brand before. How do you like them?

They’re okay, but I like the EACU CB5040 and CB5025 better because they seemed sharper and easier to insert
free hand. Unfortunately EACU doesn’t stock the 50mm diameter and you have to special order a case of 200
boxes. https://www.eacustore.com/
