Supplement LI+ in super thin people.

Toby -

So I've had 2 super thin people (one looks pure anorexic) who complain about distal swelling, in hands, feet, fingers, and toes.
I have gone through channels with both and the only channel that works is supplementing LI+.
One patient's body type says ST excess, LU didn't help the swelling, but she is also well-resourced.   Every time I have done LI supplementation on her she has said "that reduced the swelling". (I can hardly see it but she feels it).   She has so many projects going - her arms look strong - if you saw her you'd diagnose her as LI excess. (and SJ excess and GB excess) .

The second patient looks anorexic.  She is anemic from Western blood tests.   She too complains about distal swelling.  She also complains about fatigue and brain fog (from a Western point of view can be attributed to anemia.).  She is one not to get bored, reads a lot, works etc.  The only treatment that helps the swelling is supplementing LI+.
I know you said your teacher likes to supplement LI+ for any type of swelling.  But in my cases, it seems really odd, especially to use it multiple times.    Do you have any thoughts on how I can think about this?

These are two excellent examples of the high clinical utility of not strictly defining the line between the inside and the outside. It is possible to diagnose this distal swelling as dampness on the inside and outside despite the findings on the rest of the body. I likely would have done the same as you and tried to address the dampness by supplementing Lu to more clearly match the rest of the body. When that strategy does not produce any results this leads you to your next most likely channel to supplement - LI. With the benefit of hindsight, you can now be 100% certain of this diagnosis because they responded so positively to supplementing LI.
