I have a fertility patient that I can't figure out. She has a bloated abdomen which feels like a balloon. She denies feeling bloated. The other noteworthy symptoms are: hormonal acne, alpha thalassemia, iron deficiency anemia, a flat-demeanor (not unkind, but kind of dense like, hard to read, flat effect). She walks very delicately with small steps but she has a inverted triangle morphology with a broad upper back and shoulders.
She has responded well to GB+, UB+, LU+. I can't tell if she is LV excess or SJ excess with her demeanor and dark eyes. Her feet are slightly cold.
I have tried many things, including P+ which delayed her period, but I can't seem to deflate her abdomen. I am very curious about this. What would you suggest?
The other question is: for patients with thalassemia or anemia, would it automatically point you to supplement LV or SI to build blood?
<What would you suggest?>
SJ+

Only if other symptoms and signs point to these channels.
