Developmental delay

I have a 15 y.o. kid, who looks like he is 10 years old in height and weight.  His twin brother is 6' and looks like a man.  This kid's chief complaint is digestive, complaining of abdominal pain and bloating, with very slow bowel movements that takes 30-45 minutes in the bathroom.

I am wondering for kids with developmental delay, if K+ would be appropriate.  In this kid's case, is his slow development just a natural process or an imbalance that needs to be addressed.

I would definitely consider Kid+ for a presentation like this. Typically I would normalize his GI tract first.

Thank you.  I forgot to mention that this kid had a suicide attempt last year.  So that definitely would point to SI excess.

I have a really hard time deciding when supplementing K, how many times is appropriate.   In the case of this kid, how many times should I supplement as there aren't any symptom presentation except his delayed development.  How can I decide?

Even in a case like this, I still recommend not supplementing the same channel more than twice. As you work with the patient, it's likely that you'll notice other channel imbalances.

Do you mean, supplementing the channel twice back to back, or supplementing the channel twice overall.
